Rochester Hills, MI- Oakland ACHA DI Hockey general manager Corey Hagood has announced that goalie Parker Remelius has committed to Oakland.

Remelius comes to Oakland from Kalamazoo United (USHS) and last season he played in 14 games with a 2.81 goals against average and a save percentage of 93%.

“I chose Oakland because it gives me the opportunity to continue my hockey career while also pursuing an education.” Remelius stated.

The history and tradition of the ACHA DI Hockey program at Oakland University was also something that helped Remelius make his decision to join the team. “I’m extremely excited to be able to play for a program that is known for its competitive culture.”

Remelius is an athletic goalie with a competitive edge which will help him and his teammates. “I’m an athletic butterfly style goalie and you can expect me to give it my all every time I hit the ice.”

He plans to study exercise science while attending Oakland.
