Rochester Hills, MI- Oakland ACHA DI Hockey general manager Corey Hagood has announced that goalie Brent Zloto has committed to Oakland.

Zloto comes to Oakland from Flint Powers (USHS) where he played in 13 games with a 1.51 goals against average and a save percentage of 96%. While at Powers, Zloto was a D3 honorable mention and won the Most Improved award.

“I choose to commit to Oakland so I had the opportunity to continue my hockey career as well as to further my education at an outstanding school.” Zloto stated.

He understands the history and tradition of the Oakland program and is honored to be a member of the team “Committing to a hockey program with this history and tradition of Oakland is a great honor.” Zloto said. “I hope to prove myself to the people that have come before me and to set a bright future for the players that come after.”

A fierce competitor, you can expect Zloto to improve each and every game he is in net for the Golden Grizzlies. “I am a goalie that will fight tooth and nail to stop the puck from going in my net.” Zloto said.

“You can expect to see me improve every time I touch the ice and never staying satisfied.”

Zloto will be studying Business during his time at Oakland.
