Rochester Hills, MI- Oakland ACHA DI Hockey is pleased to announce that Sean Parker has been named as the ninth coach in program history.

“I’m really excited.” Parker stated. “I’ve heard great things about the ACHA DI team at Oakland and I’m hoping good things continue.”

Parker comes to Oakland after serving for two seasons as an assistant coach for Grand Valley State University. At Grand Valley, Parker recruited incoming players, was in charge of the forward lines, and helped plan and execute practice plans.

Coach Parker is already hard at work recruiting for this upcoming season. “I want players that are going to work hard and give it their all.” Parker said.

“If you’re going to work hard, you can come play for me anytime.”

Before Oakland, Parker also had stints as head coach for the Northern Michigan women’s hockey team, where he won coach of the year in 2015-16, associate head coach for the Davenport University Women’s team and as an assistant coach for Marquette Junior Hockey.
