Oakland Hockey General Manager Corey Hagood has announced that forward Jeremy Schwartz has been named winner of The Scott Elder Pride, Hustle and Desire Award.

The end of the season awards were voted on by the Oakland ACHA DI Hockey players.

Schwartz scored 15 goals and added 20 assists in his freshmen season as a Golden Grizzly. He made an immediate impact on the ice and quickly became a key contributor. He recorded at least a point in 18 of the teams 21 wins this season, along with having 11 multi-point games.

He is a fierce competitor, who is known for being in the right spot at the right time on the ice. Schwartz has pride in his game and is willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. He hustles into the dirty and chippy areas of the ice to help the team be successful.

The previous two winners of the award were: Luke Mackin (2018) and Danny Scorzo (2019)
