Rochester Hills, MI- Oakland ACHA DI Hockey general manager Corey Hagood has announced that forward Jared Parsons has committed to Oakland. Parsons comes to Oakland from the Tri-City IceHawks (USPHL Premier).
While at Tri-City, Parsons scored 12 goals and 18 assists. “I chose to commit to Oakland because the coaches and scouts have always been great to me. ” Parsons stated.
New head coach Sean Parker continues to recruit for the Golden Grizzlies and adding Parsons is another piece to the puzzle. “Anytime I’ve talked to anyone that’s apart of the hockey operations at OU, It makes me want to improve my game and be the best I can be on the ice. ” Parsons added.
Parsons will be a power forward for coach Parkerand will battle hard on the ice. “I’m a quick and aggressive power forward that has a hard and accurate shot.” Parsons stated.
“On the ice you can expect me to battle for every puck in the corner and I’ll find those soft areas in the offensive zone that allow for a goal scoring opportunity.”
