Oakland ACHA DI Hockey general manager Corey Hagood has announced that forward Brody Gibb has committed to Oakland. Gibb comes to Oakland from Troy United (USHS) where he scored 13 goals and 11 assists in 24 games last season.
“I’m super excited to play with all the team and to see what the season is like.” Gibb stated.
“We’re excited to have Brody join us at Oakland.” Assistant coach Trevor Zelenock stated. “Putting up 13 goals and 11 assists in just 21 games last season with Troy United, we believe his offensive instincts and work ethic will make an immediate impact at the college level. We’re looking forward to seeing him grow in our system and contribute to the culture here.”
Gibb is an aggressive forward that will hit and create energy. “You can expect some hitting with an occasional goal or two. I’m a more aggressive forward.”
He liked the knowledge the coaching had throughout the recruiting process. “The coaching staff seem super chill and knowledgeable about the sport.” Gibb added.
Gibb is studying Business at Oakland.
