Rochetser Hills, MI- Oakland ACHA DI Hockey general manager Corey Hagood is pleased to announce that forward Anthony Cosner has committed to Oakland. Cosner comes to Oakland from Motor City (USPHL Premier) where he led the team in goals (19) and points (30).

 “I think it will be a great fit for me.” Cosner stated about committing to Oakland. “It’s a local college that I can play hockey at.”

Cosner will add energy and physicality to the Oakland lineup, and help improve the teams offense. “I always bring the positive energy and am always ready to work.” Cosner stated. “I am a shooter and always will bring the physical play.”

The history and tradition of the ACHA DI program at Oakland University was one of the reasons Cosner chose to commit. “It means a lot, and I’m very excited for what’s to come!” He added.

Cosner will study Business while attending Oakland University.

“Anthony is a local kid that is a true power forward who uses his size to get into scoring areas.” Oakland head coach Sean Parker stated. “Size and power are great, but to have the scoring touch is a plus.
