Oakland Adds Forward Cade Keisel

Oakland ACHA DI Hockey general manager Corey Hagood is pleased to announce that forward Cade Keisel has committed to Oakland. Keisel comes to Oakland from Allen Park High School. Keisel is the 16th commit this offseason for the Golden Grizzlies.

“I am excited to continue playing hockey at the college level and furthering my education at Oakland.” Keisel said. 

“We are excited Cade has committed to OU.” Assistant coach Greg Meuser stated. “We are pumped to help him continue playing hockey at a high level, while getting an amazing education close to home. He adds compete on the ice for us and will help the team continue to improve.”

Academics and hockey were both important when choosing his next stop. “I felt like Oakland was a good fit for me academically and hockey wise.” Keisel stated. “The weekend that I played with a few of the players was fun and I felt like I fit in well.” 

Keisel will being energy and hustle to the lineup. “You can expect all out effort when I step on the ice.” “I am a positionally good player with a lot of energy and hustle.” Keisel added.

Keisel is looking forward to his development under the coaching staff. “The coaches seemed positive and am confident in their coaching abilities as well as in their player development.”
