If you were not playing hockey what would you be doing?
I’d definitely be playing baseball or full time gym guy. I really enjoy being active and getting stronger.
First time playing?
I first started playing hockey when I was seven years old at the Chiller North in Delaware, Ohio. I have to shout out the Columbus Blue Jackets because if not for them being an NHL franchise, I wouldn’t be playing.
Have you played any other positions besides defense and how did it go?
I’ve played forward before. It went okay, I knew were to be in passing lanes but I never had the skill to weave around guys or dangle through them. I just worked hard and tried to knock guys off the puck.
Why did you want to be a defenseman?
I love to block shots.
How did you end up at OU and why did you choose to play here?
I transferred from LTU. I like Oakland because of its campus and the faculty. People really know their stuff here and are always more than willing to help.

Favorite Video Game? Are you any good?
Fortnite is what I typically play the most. I always play Zero Build because I am good at everything but building.
What do you drive now and what is your dream car and why?
2023 Porsche 718 Cayman
What is your dream vacation and why?
I want to visit all 30 MLB ballparks. So far I have been to Cleveland, Houston, Tampa, and Detroit.

Double A
Most embarrassing hockey moment?
Breaking my leg last year trying to go for a change.
Most embarrassing life moment?
I called my 5th grade English teacher “Mom” on accident.
Favorite sport besides hockey?
By far baseball, it is so relaxing and such a change of pace compared to hockey. I am a nerd about stats so I really enjoy that aspect of the game as well.
Pregame meal?

Pregame Ritual?
I like to just relax, I consider myself highstrung. So anything that takes my mind of the game like playing catch or the stationary bike.
Are you superstitious?
Yes very. I believe that God has control of all things but there is certain patterns he puts in front of us that repeat.
Favorite music to pump you up before a game?
I really enjoy EDM and Garage Rock.
Favorite movie and why?
I really like Star Wars, I can’t pick one because I enjoy the whole saga.
Favorite TV Show and why?
Cheers! I think its hilarious and really is quality television.
Your hockey idol and why?
I’ve always had a hard time picking one guy that I really enjoyed. But I always liked Karl Hagelin. I wear 62 because of him.
Do you watch a lot of NHL? If so what is that team besides the Wings that you love?
I do not watch as much NHL as I used to. My favorite team is the Columbus Blue Jackets.
What is one thing most people do not know about you?
I can weld and I am forklift certified!
