Oakland Hockey General Manager Corey Hagood has announced that goalie Josh Pack and forward Chase Sereno has been named The Will McMahon Most Valuable Player. This is the third straight MVP award for Sereno and the first for Pack.

The end of the season awards were voted on by the Oakland ACHA DI Hockey players, and Pack and Sereno tied for first place.

Pack went 16-9-1 with a 2.83 goals against average and a save percentage of 92%. He had two shutouts this season stopping all 22 shots against Toledo and all 21 shots against Eastern Michigan. Pack had career best in wins, save percentage, shutouts and goals against average this season.

Pack is the second goalie in program history to with the MVP award. The last goalie to win was Shaun Zeldes in 2001 and 2002.

Sereno scored 18 goals and 21 assists this season. He was second on the team in goals, assists, and points. He led the team with six game winning goals and was second in power play goals with four. His 18 goals was a career high for Sereno.

The previous two winners of the award were Chase Sereno (2018) and Chase Sereno (2019)
