Rochester Hills, MI- Oakland Hockey general manager Corey Hagood has announced that forward Conner Smigielski has committed to Oakland.

Conner Smigielski comes to Oakland from Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (NJPHL) where in 34 games he scored 29 goals, 12 assists for 41 points.

“I chose to commit to Oakland because I have been on the Oakland Jr. Grizzles for a few years and I wanted to play for Oakland University.” Smigielski stated.

He knows the history and tradition of the Oakland Hockey program well, and is honored and excited to be apart of the team. “It is a big honor to commit to Oakland because they have a long history behind them winning championships before. I’m so thankful that I was given a chance to be a part of Oakland’s history.” Smigielski said.

“When it comes to how I play, I look to read the ice looking for playmaking opportunities to support my team so we can succeed.” Smigielski added.

” What you can expect from me on the ice, is that I will be reading the ice and looking to help the team.”

Smigielski will study Business while at Oakland.
